Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hilton is seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to support the day-to-day administration of its corporate 401(k) Plan and related financial wellbeing initiatives. The role manages participant inquiries, contribution files, invoice payments, plan data audits, reconciliations, annual audit support, and non-discrimination testing while collaborating with internal teams and external plan recordkeepers.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for participant inquiries by researching and responding to questions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate invoice payments and conduct monthly reconciliation of payments
  • Review and research beneficiary claims
  • Create and reconcile weekly contribution files
  • Prepare wire payments for approvals
  • Audit and maintain plan data quality through weekly and monthly reporting, resolving any discrepancies as they arise
  • Compile plan statistics for internal dissemination
  • Provide annual audit support by gathering documents, preparing data, and running reports
  • Participate in non-discrimination testing data collection, including quarterly and annual data audits
  • Support day-to-day administration of the 401(k) Plan and related financial wellbeing initiatives
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure weekly contributions are processed timely and accurately
  • Interface with team members to assist with questions and provide guidance
  • Work with the plan recordkeeper to identify and resolve data discrepancies

Skills

  • US based remote role
  • US based remote position working approximately 25 hours/week
  • Strong data reconciliation and mathematical problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team framework
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with participants and internal stakeholders
  • 1+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, including non-discrimination testing and census submission
  • Prior experience supporting external annual audits for retirement plans
  • Familiarity with data file integrations and HRIS systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Form 5500 filings is a plus
  • ASPPA QKA designation or equivalent certification is preferred
