Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job postings that accurately reflect the required qualifications and responsibilities. Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to source and identify potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and professional networks. Conduct thorough and effective candidate screenings and interviews to assess their qualifications and fit for the position and the organization. Coordinate and participate in career fairs, job fairs, and other recruitment events to promote the State of Illinois as an employer of choice. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to recruitment and hiring processes. Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, and other recruitment resources to expand the pool of potential candidates. Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and training is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with the human resources team to develop and implement retention strategies to keep top talent within the organization. Monitor and analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement and make recommendations to leadership. Stay updated on current recruitment trends and best practices, and make recommendations for incorporating them into the recruitment process. Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure the recruitment process is carried out efficiently and within budget. Serve as a point of contact for candidates, providing timely and accurate information about the recruitment process and the organization. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities and candidate information.
