Rare Disease HIT Solutions Account Director

Job Description:

• Lead the RD HIT strategic approach and customer engagement with identified leading health systems in defined region
• Serve as Pfizer's Liaison working with customer's representatives
• Provide strategic support and guidance for leveraging e-platforms to facilitate the evolution of care
• Attend and share relevant insights from major Health IT conferences and Pfizer Health IT summits
• Flexible for up to 35% travel

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree required
• EHR certifications or advanced degree in a Health IT/Informatics related field required
• Significant experience in the functional and technical application of health information technology
• Clinical integration experience across the care continuum
• Understanding of the Health IT landscape including inter-relationships of the players within the Health IT space
• Hands-on experience with top EHR products preferred (e.g., Epic, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, etc.)
• Understanding of the impact of healthcare reform initiatives on the healthcare environment including Leading Health Systems, Pharma, Payers, etc.
• Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills required
