<p id="isPasted">The County of San Mateo Jobs for Youth Summer Internship places Jobs for Youth Members who are between 18-21 in County Departments for 8-10 weeks. The internship program provides young adults valuable work experience, the opportunity to develop employment skills, and incredible opportunities to network! Internships start in June or July.</p><br><strong>Jobs for Youth is seeking a Summer Intern II to work in the In-Home Support Services (IHSS) Public Authority division.</strong><p><br></p><p>The IHSS Public Authority is located in San Mateo. Applicants must be 18 years old before June 1, 2025. Applicants must be available to work up to 40 hours a week Monday through Friday; positions vary between 20-40 hours a week.</p><p><strong>NOTE</strong>: This is an extra-help, at-will assignment, paid on an hourly basis. Some extra help positions are eligible for benefits under the Affordable Care Act. Extra help employees are not guaranteed permanent status at the end of the assignment.</p><p id="isPasted">The Summer Intern II may provide:</p><ul><li><p>Assistance with office and administrative support.
