Our teams create environments where students feel supported, safe, and proud to call home. <h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Job Purpose The Leasing Consultant supports leasing, marketing, and resident relations by delivering excellent customer service, supporting occupancy goals, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies. </h2><h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Primary Duties & Responsibilities</h2><ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpFirst">Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, guests, and vendors.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Lease apartments in alignment with occupancy and revenue goals.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Follow Fair Housing standards in all interactions.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Conduct tours and present community features and amenities.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Support marketing and outreach efforts.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Review applications including income, credit, and background screening.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Prepare and maintain lease files and required documentation.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Verify apartment readiness prior to move-in.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Support lease renewal and retention efforts.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Track leads, guest cards, and follow-ups in property management systems.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Respond to calls, emails, and resident communication professionally and timely.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Assist with work order entry and maintenance communication.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Support move-in processes including documentation and system setup.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Maintain leasing office, model units, and amenity presentation.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Maintain knowledge of market competitors, pricing, and concessions.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Maintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all community policies.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom:13px;">Ensure understanding of required application information, screening process, policies, and procedures.</li></ul><h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Qualifications</h2><ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpFirst">Strong customer service and sales skills.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Ability to understand and explain lease documents.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Strong attention to detail and organization.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Basic math skills including percentages and rent calculations.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Ability to work weekends and peak leasing season schedules.</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom:13px;">Comfortable using social media platforms and creating posts for marketing, outreach, and community engagement.</li></ul><h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Education & Experience</h2><ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpFirst">High School Diploma or GED required</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpMiddle">Bachelor’s Degree preferred</li><li class="MsoListBulletCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom:13px;">Leasing, sales, marketing, or customer service experience preferred</li></ul><h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Apply Today</h2><ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">If you are motivated by relationship building, sales performance, and contributing to a high-impact community team, we encourage you to apply and explore career growth opportunities with University Partners.</li></ul>
