Ensure that all freight is processed according to company standards and procedures. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies to management. Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective flow of merchandise. Train and develop team members to ensure they are knowledgeable and skilled in freight processing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to optimize productivity and safety. Utilize company systems to track and manage inventory levels. Communicate with vendors and carriers to resolve any issues with incoming shipments. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies for efficient freight processing. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to freight processing. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee the proper handling and storage of merchandise to prevent damage or loss. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
