Canva Brand Designer | Ongoing Freelance Role

We're looking for a talented Canva Brand Designer with a strong eye for branding, layout and visual storytelling.

We're looking for someone who understands how to create thoughtfully branded email newsletters that feel true to our aesthetic, connect with our clients and inspire them to book.

We're a trend-focused hair salon with a distinctive brand identity. Every touchpoint matters—from the experience we create in the salon to the way we show up in our marketing. We're looking for someone who can translate our brand into designs that feel intentional, cohesive and unmistakably us.

What you'll be creating

* Branded email newsletters in Canva

* Campaigns promoting new services, seasonal offers, education and salon updates

* Designs that align with our brand colours, fonts and visual identity

* Email layouts that are engaging, easy to read and designed with the client experience in mind

* Occasional supporting marketing assets as required

Tools

* Canva (essential)

Hours

This is an ongoing freelance role, starting at approximately 2–5 hours per week, with the opportunity for more work as our marketing grows.

We're looking for someone who

* Has exceptional Canva skills

* Has a strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling

* Has an excellent eye for typography, spacing and layout

* Has experience designing for beauty, hair, fashion or lifestyle brands

* Can work from a brief while contributing creative ideas

* Has excellent attention to detail

* Is reliable, organised and communicates well

* Has a portfolio that reflects thoughtful, high-quality design
