Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Updating bookkeeping records in Zoho Books, including expenses, supplier bills, payments, receipts, petty cash entries, and basic sales records.
2. Assisting with bank reconciliation, payment matching, invoice organization, expense categorization, and document filing.
3. Reviewing transactions and flagging missing invoices, duplicate entries, unclear payments, reconciliation differences, and unusual transactions.
4. Organizing bills, receipts, bank statements, payment confirmations, petty cash records, and accounting documents in a clear and structured manner.
5. Preparing basic weekly/monthly summaries such as expense reports, petty cash summaries, supplier payment trackers, and pending document lists.
6. Coordinating with the business owner/accountant to support cleanup of historical records and maintain accurate books going forward.
7. Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy while working with financial data.

- 1. Candidate should have basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge and strong attention to detail.
- 2. Prior hands-on experience or training in Zoho Books is strongly preferred.
- 3. Good Excel/Google Sheets skills are required.
- 4. Understanding of bank reconciliation, invoices, bills, expenses, petty cash, and supplier payments will be preferred.
- 5. Experience with retail, e-commerce, Shopify, POS, or payment gateway transactions will be an advantage.
- 6. Candidate must be honest, responsive, organized, and comfortable working with confidential financial data.
