Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote role. You must live near Jacksonville for court appearances and MUST BE admitted to practice law in Florida. there are no billable hours and this is a strictly 40 hour per week role This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to reputed company protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. You will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contracts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court. Responsibilities Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the firm's clients in FL Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc. Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of reputed company law Qualifications Must be currently admitted to practice law in FL (multi-state admission would be amazing) Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply To This Job
