Conduct legal research and gather evidence for lawsuits, ensuring all relevant facts are considered in legal decisions. Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses. Advise clients on business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes. Supervise legal assistants and paralegals, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest developments in law and the legal industry. Qualifications Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing. Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, including civil litigation. Demonstrated skills in legal research and the preparation of legal documents. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in legal research software and reputed company Office Suite.
