Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to pick up and deliver packages across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Assist with manual lifting and moving of packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory for box trucks
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
• Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving cargo safely
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures using pallet jacks or forklifts
• Strong knowledge of driving safety practices, route planning, and traffic regulations
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries
• Prior experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus but not required
