About the Role The Physical Security Agent, Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) is responsible for real-time incident monitoring, triage, and response affecting DoorDash’s global workforce, assets, and operations. You will serve as a front-line responder, analyzing alerts, coordinating responses, and escalating issues following GSS protocols during high-stakes events like natural disasters, workplace emergencies, or major disruptions. Your role is central to DoorDash’s emergency response network — ensuring swift, informed, and coordinated actions 24/7. What You'll Do - Security Operations & Monitoring - Monitor alerts from global intelligence and security systems to identify threats - Patrol and assess potential behavioral concerns or escalations - Conduct routine lobby and facility patrols to uphold safety, security, and compliance - Perform checks on doors, cameras, and access points - Access Control & Visitor Management - Manage employee and guest badges — printing, activation, and access levels (experience with Genetec, Lenel S2, or similar systems a plus) - Incident Response & Safety - Triaging incidents, determining severity, and following SOPs - Acting as the initial contact for incident reporting, ensuring accurate info capture and escalation - De-escalating situations involving employees, vendors, or guests - Supporting activation of emergency protocols and crisis communication - Employee Engagement - Coordinate with internal teams (Workplace, HR, Legal, etc.) and external agencies (law enforcement, emergency services) - Provide timely updates and intelligence to relevant stakeholders - Asset & Inventory Management - Maintain emergency supplies — first aid kits, AEDs, etc. - Track inventory and ensure readiness for incident response - Documentation, Compliance & Technology - Maintain SOPs, incident reports, audit logs, and documentation in tools like Jira - Ensure compliance with safety and security standards - Participate in post-incident reviews for continuous improvement - Event Support - Monitor and coordinate safety for events, executive visits, and protection details - Coordinate with stakeholders for proper safety coverage and timely responses - Additional Duties - Support after-hours, weekends, and holiday response as needed - Assist with special projects, credentialing, crowd management, and safety during high-volume days - Travel up to 5% for training or operational support Schedule & Work Environment This is an on-site role requiring 40 hours per week, with potential variations based on operational needs. Work during evenings, weekends, and holidays may be necessary.
