<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)<br><strong>Location:</strong> United States (Remote)<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time / Part-Time</p><p> </p><h2>Job Responsibilities</h2><p>As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing the company's financial obligations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, supporting accounting operations, and fostering positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.</p><p> </p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Reviewing, verifying, and processing vendor invoices and payment requests.</li><li>Matching invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation.</li><li>Entering accounts payable transactions accurately into accounting systems.</li><li>Preparing and processing electronic payments, ACH transfers, checks, and wire transactions.</li><li>Monitoring payment schedules to ensure timely and accurate disbursements.</li><li>Reconciling vendor statements and resolving invoice discrepancies.</li><li>Communicating with vendors regarding payment status, account inquiries, and documentation requests.</li><li>Maintaining organized financial records and supporting documentation.</li><li>Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.</li><li>Supporting audits by providing required financial documentation and reports.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.</li><li>Collaborating with accounting, finance, procurement, and operations teams as needed.</li></ul><h2> </h2><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.</li><li>Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Skills</h2><ul><li>Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and reporting functions.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems and electronic invoice processing.</li><li>Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial controls.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience handling confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.</li></ul><h2> </h2><h2>Benefits</h2><p>At Beyond International Group, we believe in supporting our employees both personally and professionally.
